Use a digi!

Morning and hello! Welcome back to my corner of the blogging world. Hope you’re all doing fine and enjoy the sunshine. Well, we are a bit off line here as the kids have trouble letting go of their screens in all single ways. If it’s not their phones, there is the computer, and if it’s not the computer the TV. I wonder what my granny had said if she was still alive and saw this.

It is time for a new challenge over at WinterWonderland today and it feels so right to sit and make Christmas cards when it’s about 24 degrees outside. LoL Well, I will be grateful when December comes and I realize that I have to make a ton more of them as it’s very few made so far. I need to step it up and if the weather will keep its promise and poor down on us tomorrow I will make a bunch of cards hopefully. We always have hope. J

The theme of this period is “Use a digi” so we have a nice and easy theme for you this time. So keep these Christmas cards coming. You know you will need them really soon. LoL

I have coloured my image with some copics that I really don’t know how to handle properly. But it’s always good to try out new things. The image is called Christmas Deer from All dressed up. Sweet and lovely images for you all to enjoy. I have combined the image with some designer papers from Dove craft and it’s called something like Kraft Christmas or something like that. The ribbon is from Royal Tiger of Copenhagen, the sentiment charm is from ROX-stamps and the favourite snowflake is from PH Hobby. Pearls is from my enormous stash. I have used some wink of stella pens on the deer as well. Clear, purple and green.

Bright colours!

Morning and hello! I am back with a creation again. It is really hard to get into creative routines at the moment. I don't have much time , or well I have time but I don't have as much energy as I used to have before I started to work. Now almost all of my energy takes up of the work and how to get more effective. Well, however I have at least managed to get a card done for the new challenge over at Passion for promarkers. Our new theme is set by Hazel and it's "Bright colours".That means we really want to see happy colours on your creations this week. Shouldn't be too hard now when we have summer and everything is about bright colours. Even my hair is bright happy colour: organge, even neon orange.

Oh well, happy colours. I have used a sponsor image from Bugaboo called Meant to be floral. It was quite a long time since I used a sponsorimage but now I have two times in a row. It's tons of happy flowers on this image and I have used quite a lot of different colours. However I think it ended up quite fine in the end. I have of course coloured with my Letraset/Winsor Newton. It looks quite ok as there is more than one colour how to speak. It was fun to colour this image in as it was no faces to deal with. I have missed that.

I have used a bunch of dp's from Echo Park I believe. Summer time or happy summer time. Something like that. It's happy designer papers and I did a fairly straight design with straight lines. It is kind of what I do at the moment. I have use three different dp's and have given them orange back drops. It looks quite ok with all the bright colours. I love the Echo park paper packs, they are smashing with their great colours and the straight line that shows throw. Anyway, Echo Park dp's and to that a ribbon, wooden decorations (hearts), pearls and a few butterflies gives interest to the card. Paper flower are also use for decorations. Two butterflycharms is also added to the card. It got a little low but looks ok anyway.

Punches and/or dies

Morning and hello! It's Wednesday again and we have a new challenge up for you all over at the Paper Shelter. This weeks theme is "Punches and/or dies" so a very nice and easy theme for you all to play along with us. You don't even have to use a TPS image to play along.

Well I spend a lot of time writing at work and it has started to go on my vrists so I keep this fairly short. I have used the fabby and really lovely image "Berry Delight". It's coloured with my copics and Letraset markers. I really need to do a check up on my Letraset markers as some are running low and some are not working very well etc. So a mix we had this time.

I am working hard on using up my dp's but it goes very slow. I have use a paper pack that comes from LOTV and NitWit collections. Sorry don't remember what it's called. Used a few Magnolia dies to decorate the card. It's from the last club kit of dies. The border die is really old and still a favourite of mine. Once again have I used the letter stickers from Panduro and today I covered them in glossy accent as they wasn't sticking very well to the card. Put them a bit low on the edge.

Playing with a TPS image give you a chance of winning the gift voucher worth $30. Playing with another brand gives you the chance of winning three digis of your choice. However, in both cases you have to claim your prize before Saturday the same week our new challenge starts.

This is all from me for today. I hope you take the chance of playing with us when we have such easy theme. You can enter our challenges three times but one of your creations needs to have a TPS image on them.

Take care and do what makes you happy!

Love n hugs

Anything goes over at PFP

Morning and hello! Time for a new challenge over at Passion for Promakers again and this one is a really easy one: Anything goes as long as you have used Promakers/Winsor and Newton markers on your creation.

Our sponsor this week is Crafty Sentiments and the prize is three digis of your choice. How great isn't that for prize ?

For my card then. Coloured with the dear old markers from Letraset/W&N is the image called Fifi - Bubbles from Crafty Sentiments. A sweet and charming image and really fun to colour in too. I have paired her up with some dp's from MME I think. For decorations have I used a bunch of enamel stars, a ribbon and some sequines in silver and pearl. I have also used some gloss on the bathfoam as well for some more fun and water feel to it.

I hope you will come and join the fun over at Passion for Promarkers this week.

Take care and do something that makes you happy.

Summer birthday

Morning and hello! Time for a new post from me today and today it's time for a new challenge over at the Paper Shelter. Our theme this week is "Summer birthday". That simply means we want to see a birthday card with kind of light colours or very bright colours that brings your mind to summer.

I have used a new image called Josephine. A nice charming image with a theme I love. Love those costumes, the old fashion. It's stunning. Today I have coloured with my Letrasetmarkers and some pencils as well. My old LM's is running low and I am not too fond of the new ones. Anyway. I got her coloured and on a card. It might be a strange image for a summer birthday but we always have out door theatre here in my little town and once or twice I've gotten tickets to see these on my birthday, during the summer. :)

I have used some Maja design papers for this card, I think they are from Sofiero collection but not totally sure. It's some left overs that got to work this time. Always feels great to finish off a card knowing that you could finish off some leftovers. I have also used a bunch of die cuts on this card, mostly from Magnolia, Sweden. Pearls, a ribbon bow, a butterfly charm and letter stickers from Panduro is used as decorations. The sentment says congrats in swedish just like a birthday card should.

I have to keep this short as I cut myself on a die, a sharp edge point that I was about to cut off but made a bit of a mess with my finger first. Nothing planned, just very painful at the moment, and very bloody. Managed to keep it way from my card at least but I feel very clumsy with the patch on. Will be gone tomorrow I guess.

As always when we have a challenge over at the Paper Shelter do we have a gift voucher worth $30 up for grabs if you play with a TPS image. Playing with another brand gives you the chance of winning three digis of your choice.

Anyway, take good card and do something that makes you happy!

Love n hugs
Marie
